How to Root the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2015)

Today i will show you ,how to root samsung galaxxy j2 (2015).

Befor you begin please note:

1. This could void warranty. We wont be responsible if anything happens during this tutorial.

2 You should do this only on Samsung galaxy j2 device.
3 please backup your important data  before Rooting your device.

Lets start how to root samsung galaxy j2:

Files need to download:

1. ADB USB driver

2. TWRP Download the latest version of this.

3. SuperSu

4.ODIN

5.Samsung usb driver

Note: please charge your mobile above 80%

Part-1: Flashing a custom recovery

Step 1. Extract files from Odin and save it to your desktop.

Step 2. Launch Odin by double clicking on its .exe file.

Step 3.  afterOdin launches, click on PDA button  and select TWRP recovery.tar file which you have downloaded earlier.

Step 4. Uncheck the Reparation  option if it's already checkmarked.

Step 5. Checkmark the  options that say AutoReboot & F.Reset time.

Step 6. Now turn off your Samsung galaxy j2.

Step 7. Now hold down Volume down, Home & power button together for a few seconds.

Step 8. When the device shows a prompt hit the Volume up key & then you should enter the download mode.

Step 9. Now plug in  you device to your Pc & Odin should recognise your device

Step 10. Hit Start in Odin & it'll start Flashing TWRP recovery on your device, wait for the process to get complete & it will automatically reboot your device.

Now you have successfully flashed TWRP recovery on your device.

Part -2: Rooting your Samsung galaxy j2.

Step 1. After flashing TWRP recovery in device, turn On your device normally.

Step 2. Copy SuperSu.zip file in your sd card. Copy in your root folder so you can easily find it.

Step 3. After copying disconnect your device from pc, and turn it off.

Step 4. Reboot your device into TWRP recovery mode, To do that , hold down Volume up, Home & power button together for few seconds.

Step 5. Now your device should be in TWRP recovery mode, Once inside the recovery mode tap on install to install a zip file on your device

Step 6. Navigate to your sd card and find the SuperSu.zip file which you copied select that file.

Step 7. Tap on swipe to confirm flash. to flash SuperSu file on your device

Step 8. Wait for TWRP to flash SuperSu on your device. Once it's done reboot your device by tapping Reboot followed by System from the recovery menu. And your device should reboot now.

Now congratulations you have successfully rooted your Samsung galaxy j2 device.
